Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about our process, pricing, documents and timelines.
Getting Started
How do I get started with Freemove?+
Send a short request through our form or on WhatsApp. An advisor reviews your situation on a free consultation, then explains the pathways, timelines and costs that fit you — with no obligation to continue.
Do you offer a free consultation?+
Yes. Your first consultation is free and carries no obligation. We only quote a fee once we understand your case and the exact service you need.
Which countries can you help me relocate to?+
We focus on the EU — including Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Germany and more. Tell us your goal and we'll recommend the best-fit destination.
During the Process
What does the process look like?+
You submit a short request, an advisor reviews your situation on a free consultation, we prepare your documents, submit the application, and support you through approval and relocation.
How long does it take?+
It depends on the country and service. Typical processing windows range from 4 to 16 weeks. Each destination page lists an estimated timeline.
Will I have one point of contact?+
Yes. You're assigned a dedicated Immigration Advisor who guides you from the first consultation through to arrival, so you always know who to ask.
How will you keep me updated?+
Your advisor updates you at each stage — document preparation, submission and decision — through your preferred channel (WhatsApp, Telegram, email or call).
Do you help find the employer and job?+
For work permits we work with vetted employers and can match you to suitable roles, then handle the sponsorship and permit paperwork.
After Arrival
Do you help after I arrive?+
Yes. Our support continues after you land — with workplace questions, document renewals, registration steps and general settling-in assistance.
Can you help renew my permit or residence later?+
We do. Many clients return to us for renewals and status changes; we track your expiry dates and prepare renewals in good time.
Trust & Legitimacy
How do I know you are a legitimate, registered company?+
We publish our registered legal entities, registration numbers and direct links to the official government registries so you can verify us yourself. See our Verify Us page.
How can I verify Freemove is a real company?+
We publish our registered legal entities, their registration numbers and direct links to the official government registries on our Verify Us page — so you can confirm us independently before sharing anything.
Where are your offices?+
Our HQ is in Bratislava, Slovakia, with branch offices in Hungary, Lithuania, Estonia and Ukraine. Each address matches our registered entities.
Pricing & Payments
How much does it cost?+
Fees depend on the service and destination. The initial consultation is free and we give you a clear quote before you commit to anything.
When do I pay?+
You review and sign a written service agreement before any payment. The terms, amount and what's included are agreed in advance — no hidden fees.
What happens to my payment if my application is refused?+
Refund and deferral terms are set out in your agreement. If a permit is denied through no fault of your own, service fees are refunded as defined in that contract.
Legal & Worker Rights
Are the jobs and contracts legal?+
Yes. We work only with vetted, registered employers, and you receive a written employment contract to review before you commit. Everything is documented and legally binding.
What are my rights as a worker abroad?+
You're entitled to the pay, hours and conditions in your signed contract and to the protections of local labour law. If a workplace issue arises, your advisor helps you resolve it.
Family & Future
Can my family join me?+
In most cases, yes. Once you're settled, we handle family reunification so your spouse, children and — where eligible — parents can join you legally.
Can this lead to permanent residence or citizenship?+
For many pathways, yes. Legal work and residence can build toward permanent residency and, in time, citizenship. Your advisor maps the long-term route during your consultation.
Choosing a Country
Which country is best for me?+
It depends on your profession, budget, timeline and language. On your free consultation we compare destinations and recommend the one that fits your goals — see our Countries pages to start.
Which country has the fastest process?+
Processing times vary by country and permit type — typically 4 to 16 weeks. Each destination page lists an estimated timeline so you can compare.
Documents
What documents do I need to start?+
To begin, usually just a valid passport. Your advisor will give you a tailored checklist for your specific case after the consultation.
What documents will I need later?+
After your consultation your advisor gives you a tailored checklist for your case — usually a passport, proof of qualifications or experience, and a few civil documents. We tell you exactly what's needed and when.
General
Are you a government agency?+
No. Freemove is a private immigration consultancy. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with any government authority. We help you prepare and submit applications correctly.
In which languages can I get support?+
